 RULES & REGULATIONS

 

1.     Exhibitors will follow the General & Jr. Livestock Rules. 

2.     Junior Exhibitors must be members of Summit County 4-H or FFA programs.  

3.     Market Hogs due for weigh-in on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.. (Hogs must be in pens by 8:45 a.m.)  

4.     Judging starts Friday at 8:00 a.m.  

5.     EXHIBITORS MUST HAVE A PIG BOARD.  

6.     4-H and FFA will show together.  

7.     Due to disease problems, no breeding swine will be allowed to enter the fair.  

8.     All alleyways within the hog department must be clear of feed, feed pans, buckets, etc. during the county fair. Feed and tack storage pens will be provided for exhibitors to use.  

9.     Hogs must not be restrained on the show grounds.  

10.   Showmanship will be held on Thursday, August 10th at 8:00 a.m.

**Grades in School as of Jan. 1 2017 Hog Division will have 8 showmanship classes. Classes will be divided as follows: 3rd; 4th; 5th; 6th; 7th; 8th; 9th-10th & 11th-12th grades.
